Peace of mind.

Christmas break is done and everyone had to go back to school. Emma came in early. She’s staring outside the window and is just thinking about her confession to John.

“Is it a good thing that he didn’t hear it?” asked herself silently
“Good thing he didn’t hear what?” asked Doug from behind
“What?! Nothing!” says Emma in surprise
“Why’re you blushing?” asked Doug
“No I’m not! Mind your own business!” screamed Emma
“Did you confess your love to someone?” he said jokingly
“No!” replied Emma

John came in and heard them arguing

“What’re you guys talking about?” asked John
“Oh we were just talking about Emma confessi-” says Doug but Emma interrupted by smacking him
“Hmm okay” says John and sat

Doug looked at Emma while he rubbed his head after being smacked. He then tried to whisper something to Emma

“Is it John?” whispered Doug

Emma couldn’t replied. She was just staring at her desk and she was blushing. Her face is all red. John noticed this.

“Emma are you okay?” asked John
“Yeah I’m fine” she replied without looking at him

Mila came in and John saw her. He blushed slightly.

“Good morning guys” says Emma
“Hey!” replied Doug
“Hey Emma” replied John

They talked for awhile then their teacher came.

“You guys have a test tomorrow so study” says the teacher

After hearing this, John smacked his face.

“I’m screwed” says John to himself

After the class ended, John faced Doug

“I’m going to fail” says John
“It’s okay, Emma could tutor you” says Doug
“No way!” screamed Emma while blushing
“That’s cold” says John
“If you don’t mind, I could tutor you” says Mila

This caught Emma’s attention

“Rea- really? Thank you!” says John

“Okay I’ll meet you in the library after school” says Mila with a smile

Their next teacher came in. They all faced him.

“That’s too bad Emma” says Doug silently so that only Emma could hear

Emma didn’t say anything. No one knew what was going in her head. After class, lunch came.

“John should we head out to the library?” asked Mila
“Yeah” he replied
“I’ll see you guys later” says John to Emma and Doug
“Okay, make sure you study! Not hit on Mila” Doug replied

Mila blushed when she heard this.

“Shut up!” screamed John

John and Emma proceeded to the library.

“Sucks for you Emma” says Doug after John and Mila left
“Shut up!” screamed Emma then proceeded to smack him

Meanwhile at the library, Mila and John went to a vacant table.

“Hold on I need to get the book on the shelf so we can study” says Mila
“Okay sure” he replied

Mila walked to aisle to look for the book. She then found it but it was too high. She looked for a stool.

“Why is she taking so long” says John to himself
“I better check” he continued

He walked to the aisle where Mila went. He saw her trying to reach the book while on a stool.

“Hey Mi-” says John

Mila screamed before he even finished his sentence. She was surprised and started falling off the stool. John tried to catch her but he didn’t have his balance. He fell on the floor on his back and Mila fell on top of him. John is now on the floor and Mila is on top of him. He was blushing and so was she. They were looking each other in the eye. Emma came out of nowhere and saw them.

“Hey Jo-” says Emma but couldn’t finish her sentence because of what she saw.
